Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how SF Grand View LLC (“LeetLoop,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the LeetLoop web application at leetloop.dev and the LeetLoop Chrome extension (together, the “Service”). LeetLoop is an interview-preparation tool that captures your own coding practice and schedules spaced-repetition reviews of the areas where you struggle.
Information We Collect
We collect only what we need to run the Service:
- Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication identifiers through our authentication provider (Supabase). If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile information from Google.
- Practice data captured by the extension. On leetcode.com, the extension records your own submissions — the problem identifier, your submitted code, pass/fail status, runtime, language, and timestamps — and syncs them to your LeetLoop account. It only reads your own submission results; it does not read your browsing history or activity on other sites.
- Practice data you submit in the web app. Answers you provide for grading — including code, written responses, and, for oral practice, audio recordings — are sent to us so we can score them and give feedback.
- Authentication tokens. Your LeetLoop session tokens are stored locally in your browser and in the extension’s local storage so you stay signed in. They are not shared with third parties.
- Usage and device data. We use PostHog to collect product-analytics events (pages viewed, features used, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device type) to understand and improve the Service.
How We Use Your Information
- Provide the Service: capture submissions, compute readiness scores, and schedule spaced-repetition reviews.
- Generate AI feedback and grading on your practice answers.
- Maintain, secure, debug, and improve the Service.
- Respond to your support requests and send service-related communications.
AI Processing
To grade practice answers and generate feedback, we send the relevant content you submit (for example, your code or written/spoken answer) to Google’s Generative AI (Gemini) API. This processing is performed to provide the grading feature you request. We do not send your data to AI providers for any purpose unrelated to producing your feedback.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it except with the service providers that operate the Service on our behalf:
- Supabase — database and authentication.
- Google Cloud Platform — application hosting and secret management.
- Google Generative AI (Gemini) — automated grading and feedback.
- PostHog — product analytics.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of LeetLoop and its users.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You may request export or deletion of your data, or deletion of your account, at any time by emailing support@leetloop.dev. We will delete your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live (including the EEA, UK, and California), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@leetloop.dev.
Data Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Access to user data is restricted with row-level security, and application secrets are stored in a managed secret store. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard measures.
Cookies and Local Storage
We use cookies and browser/extension local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. Analytics cookies help us measure and improve the Service.
Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate.
